Using our paper stash

Hi all,

It's Debbie here with a little something using up those left over papers from my cupboard. We all have scraps of paper and they are perfectly fine to use up. Why not every now and again check what you have first in your bit box/folder as they're bound to inspire you.

We all have a mad printing session when we get a new download or cdrom - cause we can't wait to see them in the flesh. That's the beauty of computer crafting. We've got everything at our fingertips at any hour of the day. That's why Funkyhand rocks and you can get everything you want at the touch of a button.

Being on the design team has made me look at papers differently. I was always basing my card around an image then I'd choose the papers. Now I'll use an image if I want to but love to choose my papers first and make my own embellishments by cutting out flowers etc from the papers. It's cheaper and gives your papers dimension too.Enough waffling here's my card using Funkyhand - autumn wedding papers, some ribbon, twine, buttons and a printed sentiment from Funkyhand wishes and kisses cdrom.

So what are you waiting for lets see what fab Funkyhand creations you can make. You can pop them on  or on our Facebook page. If you aren't sure how to leave a pic then leave us a comment or email one of the design team and we'll give you a hand.

That's all for now there'll be another post this week from one of the other funkettes.
Thanks for popping by.

Love Debbie x

  1. I love this card Debs. It's great that you think differently about your digital papers now. I really like how you are creating the embellishments yourself, they are turning out wonderful and no one else ever has the same thing on their cards. You are a true individual. :)

  2. This is great - those shades really zing. I think one of the best things about using FH printables is that you NEVER run out of your favourite papers!
