The style of this card is actually a tag! I love this card base, from SVGCuts, it really was perfect to go with the lovely Winter Wedding papers, while letting me use the Winter Wedding Alphas as well. :D
The backing paper is paper #11, a great dark purple striped, which looks great with paper #5, the ombre polka dotted paper. I also used paper #10 for the outer petals of the flower. To create the "love" letters, I used the Winter Wedding Alphabet Plus, which is included in the Winter Wedding Papers and Alphas Combined. Since the letters do not have a contrasting border, I was able to line them up touching and print it out. This way it looks like one solid word instead of the individual alphas. This is definitely something that is super easy to do when working digital products. :D
In the last few weeks I really have been combining my love of my Silhouette Cameo and Funky Hand to explore new styles, and new techniques. One thing that I love about having digital papers is that every part of this card that uses a Funky Hand paper was print and cut from the same sheet of cardstock. This means that I didn't have to print out each individual paper and then have all this extra scrap around, although the DT really shows you how to use up your scraps! Haha I'm just a "utilize as much space as possible with little waste" type of gal, so the digital product really helps me out there. :D
Well, I hope you have enjoyed this week's installment of Tabbatha's Shaped Card Adventure. I'll be back soon with some more awesomeness.
