A little bit of Santa Baby......

Morning.

It's Debbie here with a card I put together yesterday.I looked through my Funkyhand left over papers folder and decided to use the  'Santa baby' paper download. It is full of yummy pastels and whatever Anice creates there are papers to suit any occasion.

Sorry I teased you with the title but it's not a Christmas card...... and all the papers are from this download - would you believe it!

I took a couple of pics to show you how I ended up with the card above. With my scraps I only printed out an additional sheet of A4 paper.

To start with:
I cut out lots of circles with my circle cutter.
I trimmed a couple of strips of card.
I matted and layered onto the base card.I'd already typed 'Happy Birthday' onto the blue sheet of card.
All I had to do was layer up the circles and trimmed them.
Make sure you don't glue all of the circle - leave a strip at the bottom so you can tuck the circles in. I know this because I glued the whole circle first then found I needed to tuck 2 underneath each time-good job I tested this out for you.
To finish you just add a strip of card at each side of the circles to tidy it up.

I saw an idea with the circles on pinterest this morning and had to try it.

Add a few card candy
and some bakers twine then you're all done.
Lots of fun.

If you want to share any of your makes or views with us either below or on our Facebook page.

Hugs Debbie x

Marleen DT - I like coffee...

Hi guys..

Its my turn to share a bit of inspiration.

This month I have had a play with the "Im a mug for you - I like coffee" digital stamp.
I have also ude the papers called "Tea's up"
YOu can find both and all the other fantastic goodies over in the STORE...

Here is what I have made:

A little side stepper card for this month. I dont make many of these, but I thought it would fit really well with this image. I really wanted to show of the image, but still let the papers do a bit of the talking.

My image is printed and coloured with Promarkers.
The rest of my card (bar the card blank) is all from the "tea's up" papers.

To make the little accents I just cut out 2 of the cups from a spare piece if that paper and mounted with foampads and finished with a bit of glossy accent.

And that is all from me for today.
Thank you for popping by and for any comments left behind.

Clear stamps for £1.00 anyone?

Hi everyone Anice here again..

You know I have been having a bit of a clear out in the stock room and selling my crafting CDs for just £1.00 each.  If the answer is No..then get over to the Funky Hand Website www.funkyhand.com and grab yourself a bargain.  But before you go, I've decided to add some more Funky Hand crafting goodness to the £1.00 sale

Yes, the three Our Betty clear stamp sets are now reduced in price from £7.99 each to £1.00 each.  They are made from high quality clear acrylic so they always give perfect stamped images.

Betty is a girl after my own heart, she is a little on the plump side (Like me!) She like her shopping, chocolate and cakes! As well as Betty, the stamp sets have lots of additional images and great sentiments as well.

For just £1.00 each, I don't think you can go wrong. Take a closer look and pop them in your basket before they are all gone. http://www.funkyhand.com/stamps/our-betty

Until next time
Anice xx

Fading Beauty

Hi, it's Sammylou here and I'm happy to be sharing a make I made today using the Fading Beauty download.
This is a sumptuous download just perfect for the last days of sunshine before Autumn begins.
My card was made using a svg file from SVG Cuts and I think it showcases the papers beautifully.

I added some card candy and a 60 peel off and the card was ready to be given to a colleague at work. To say she was overjoyed was an understatement!
We would love to see any cards you've made with the download and you can show us on the facebook page or come and join the group for lots of friendly chat and a place to share your Funky Hand makes. Please pop on over and share the Funky Hand love with us.
Make the most of the remaining sunshine and I'll see you all soon, Sammylou xXx
