The Funky freebie for this month is just perfect for this and as you will see i have used it in my project along side some of the really sunny summery colourful papers from the wishes and kisses cd which i love more and more each time i use it.

To be in with a chance of winning the fab prize on offer this month all you have to remember is to USE AT LEAST ONE FUNKY HAND PRODUCT .... and its that simple.

Ni's 'Money Money Money' make!

Good morning everyone!
I hope it is as lovely and sunny wherever you are as it is here and that you get some time to enjoy being outside today. :)

Our challenge for this month was set by the lovely Jackie and it is "Just a Number". Text is fine too but there are no images allowed.
Now this really stumped me as I generally make my projects based around a focal image and take my colours and layout inspiration from that too, so I was playing around again with the fabby new Wishes and Kisses cd and suddenly an idea hit me! In the templates section of the cd is a gift wallet, superb!

I've decorated it using the Funky Freebie for this month which just features numbers, perfect! If you want any more details you can pop over to my blog.
You can use this template to share Gift Cards as I have done here but it could also be used for money, vouchers or lottery tickets!

Thanks for stopping by today, Ni. x

It's Just a Number!!!

Good morning.
Today it is my (Debs) turn to share some inpsiration with you for this month's Funky 15th challenge
as picked by our very lovely Jackie

JUST A NUMBER

Here's what I did:

I have to confess that I actually made rhis quite some time ago - when Anice released the
But as I haven't shared it on my blog I thought it would be perfect timing to share it now :o)

The card base was made using the Wobble Card template on the CD and one of the fab funky papers from the Sunshine Birthday collection.
I also die cut a scalloped circle from the Happy Birthday text paper from the same collection.

The number topper is a digi stamp from the CD too.

A few co-ordinating flowers and job done!!

Don't forget to scroll down to check out the inspiration from my DT buddies so far and look out for more to come.

To be in with a chance of winning the fab prize on offer this month all you have to remember is to

USE AT LEAST ONE FUNKY HAND PRODUCT

and to make that easy for you Anice has created another fab funky freebie - available here

Free craft backing papers to download for card making and scrapbooking

So that's all from me today.
Thanks for popping by.
Have a wonderful day.

Number 18

Morning all, Allison here to show my card for this months challenge as set by the lovely Jackie which is to use NUMBERS as your main focus.

Anice is even giving you a funky FREEBIE  to help you join in as you MUST use a FUNKY HAND product to join in.

I used the freebie for my card by cutting a large scalloped nestie oblong and folding in half for my card blank.  Printed off the paper and cut the smaller size nestie from it, halved it and layered it on the card blank.

I then cut a smaller shape out then printed the paper off again in a smaller size and cut it out in a smaller size again , mounted this and fixed it to the card base. Didi some doodling round the card.

Pleated some of the left over paper and fixed at the ends to the card, added a couple of flowers and printed off a number 18 from one of the Papercraft Factory CDs- did a bit of doodling on the number too.  A quick and easy card- think I might use some male coloured papers and do a male version.

Hope you can join in with us this month and we all look forward to seeing what you have created.

Just leave your link below and pop back in a couple of days for some more inspiration

A Little 40!

Welcome to the next Funky installment of the challenge set by the fab Jackie:

Words, Numbers but NO images

Now I may get a stern telling off from Anice, but here goes - a sneaky peak of a brand new download called Daisy Day which is not yet released!!!  Look at the pretty soft pinks and lilacs - perfect for feminine cards!

I've used off cuts of papers to make the little squares and randomly cornered some of the edges.  Added some ribbon, a pin and two butterflies from my stash and I've cut out a small number 40.  A really quick and easy card to make.

Good luck with the challenge and don't forget to use a Funky Hand product.  You can use the freebie download available if you've not got anything in your stash.

The big 60!

Hello and welcome to the next installment of the Get Funky fun!!

The lovely Jackie is in the hot seat this month and she has set you a challenge of "Just a number"  Basically there must be a number on it, text is ok but images are banned this month!!

For my sample I have made a wodbook for my step dad's big birthday in a few weeks.  It will actually be his birthday card so not exactly a wordbook.  He is a huge Dunfermline Athletic fan so I just had to use the team colours and they just happen to be a combo I love.  I used the Wishes and Kisses cd and the fab wordbook maker that is just so simple to use :o)

As always the only rule here at Get Funky is to use a Funky Hand product on your creation.  We don't mind what you make, how many challenges you enter with it and what else you use on the item, but if there's not a Funky Hand paper or image on it then you won't be entered into the prize draw for the Download of your choice from the Funky Hand website (and there is a new scrummy download coming soon so you really don't want to miss that!)  To make this open to all Anice provides a free paper every month especially with the challenge in mind and it is available to download here
Can't wait to see what you make for this month's challege :o)

Just a number

Hi everyone, it's my turn (Jackie) to host the Get Funky! challenge this month. Firstly though I would like to thank Anice for her fabulous sketch and also to my team mates for their wonderful projects made for the challenge. I'd also like to thank the lovely ladies who took part this month, and here endeth my Oscar speech :)

My challenge for you this month, as the title says, is that I would like you to use a large number on your project. I don't want to see images of any kind please but text is fine and here is my sample
I've used a variety of Funky Hand products on my card as they all come from my 'off cuts' folder. If you like what you see, the details are on my blog

We only have one rule when it comes to our challenge, which we are very strict about, is that you must use a Funky Hand product on your project. Should you not have any of Anice's fabulous cd's or downloads then she has created a Funky Freebie backing paper for you and this can be found on her website www.funkyhand.com

We look forward to having you join us in our challenge this month and can't wait to see what you come up with. Don't forget to add yourself to Mr Linky below so we can come and take a look.

The winner of Junes Challenge

Well, obviously my sketch was a little too much for a few crafters this month!!  But the entries we have received have all been amazing which makes my job of choosing a winner even harder than if we had, had fifty entries. After much mulling and changing of my mind I am very pleased to say that the winner of this months Get Funky Challenge is (drum roll)...

Get in contact with me using the Contact Us page on my website www.funkyhand.com and I'll send you your special code to use to pick any of our Funky Hand craft download collections.

Right my challenge is over so in a few mins you will see this months new challenge from our lovely Jackie.  I look forward to seeing your entries and visiting your blogs.  Oh, and don't forget there will be a new     Funky Freebie download on the website as usual to help you join in.

A Little More Sketchy!

It's my turn (Ruth) to share with you some last minute inspiration for our current Get Funky! challenge which is this fab sketch by Anice:

All the paper elements are from the brand new cd - Wishes and Kisses which was launched on Create and Craft earlier in the week.  If you saw the 8am show you'd have heard my name mentioned - as it was I who made the funky Union Jack bag!!

Anyway, onto my sample.  The only extra bits I've used is a Sizzix die cut, pearls, offcuts of ribbon and embroidery thread to embellish the sketch.

Don't forget our rule when entering our challenges - you MUST use a Funky Hand element in your creation.  If you don't have anything, you can always snag the monthly freebie which fits in with the challenge.  But be quick - a new challenge is launched at 9am on the 15th of each month!

A Sketchy Thank You!

Good morning everyone, it's Ni here today to share my first ever Get Funky! project as a Funkette.
Very exciting!

The theme for this month is to 'Follow My Sketch' which has been drawn by The Boss lady, Anice...
and here is my interpretation of it...

I have used a kraft card blank and the fabby Funky Freebie backing paper for this month which uses the same colours as the Hey There Baby collection on the wonderful newly released Wishes & Kisses cd.
The 'Thank You' tag is also from the cd and has been printed onto a green textured backing paper using the workspace feature included on the Papercraft Factory discs.
The rest is a bit of a mixture from my stash, a bunting die and half of a large paper flower with some bakers twine, a small flower stamp for the background and some card candy.

Thanks for stopping by, Ni. x

The clouds were die cut using Sizzix die
Sentiment created using the writer function on Dreams Come True Papercraft Factory CD
A simple buttion and some twine to finish it off :o)

As always we only have 1 rule to be in with a chance of winning this month's prize and that is to use at least 1 Funky Hand product on your entry - and to make it even easier for you Anice has created another fabulous Funky Freebie for you - available here
