Fancy a bit of sepia paper to craft with? Look no further!

Hello everyone, Anice here,

I hope you all had a great Easter break and were not too busy with eating chocolate eggs to grab a bit of crafting time.  I mean it is something you can do at the same time if you are careful!  It was busy for me, we decided that the hall stairs and landings in our three storey house needed painting and Easter would be a good time to do it.. what a hard job.  It's never getting done again as far as I'm concerned!

Right, the reason I wanted to talk to you today was because I have a new backing paper collection on the Funky Hand website ready to be downloaded.  This one is a little different than normal..it's not bright colours, it's sepia! Take a look..

Memories in Sepia is priced at only £2.99 and it has proved very popular with the Funky Hand Design Team, they have created some fantastic cards and scrapbook pages.  Here's a few to get you started,

And here is one from me..don't faint I do craft sometimes!

If you are wondering who the little girl on my card is that's Georgie 'Love Banner' she's a new digital stamp and you can find her on the Funky Hand website today as well.

So, there are a few creations with the new Memories In Sepia backing paper collection.  Go to the Funky Hand website and see LOTS more examples from my wonderful DT in the gallery, then pop it in your basket and get crafting.

We would all love to see what you make using Memories In Sepia so why not visit the Funky Hand Facebook page and put a photo of your creations there so we can all take a look and send you some love.

See you over there.

Easter goodies from our GDT Wendy.....

13921801471_d7e816a5ae_b
We have been very honoured to have the gorgeous Wendy GDT-ing for us this last couple of weeks. She has made some fabulous projects with her Funky Hand papers but I think this is my fav blog entry from her so far with them!! awwwwwww! this is what Wendy had to say about this make...

"A very quick post from me this evening, to wish all my lovely pals in the Northern Hemisphere a Happy Easter and to share two sweet Easter baskets I made for my kiddos. I meant to post this earlier, but we've been having too much fun celebrating our Easter, so a little later than I'd hoped posting.

I used two different Funky Hand paper sets for the baskets. Georgie's I made from a lovely set called Spring Wedding and Zac's from a cool boys set called Boys Will Be Boys. I printed a different design on each side of the paper, so that the inside of the baskets would also be decorated. I love how this looks and chose to reverse the print on the handle of Georgie's basket just to mix it up a little. You can see in the two pics below the inside papers. Just a sneak peak, as I couldn't resist showing them with their contents.

April Inspiration, DT Marleen.

Hi everyone..

Its my turn to share some inspiration here on the blog..
For this card Ive used the papers that was a special edtion for Mothers day. They are called
"Mother of Mine".

Here is what I have made:

I cut out a circle from the front of my card blank. Then cut a circle from the papers, the same size.
I then cut the matching scalopped circle and cut out the middle again using the same size circle..
The flowers were simply cut out from one of the papers.

For all your Funky Hand needs, DO pop to the STORE.. There are so many amazing papers and fantastic digi stamps..

And that is it from me for today..
Thank you for stopping by and for any comments left behind.

Sneak Peeks

Hello - it's Kathy here today and I'm sharing some sneaky peeks of things made with a paper collection that is currently "waiting in the wings"!  If you follow the Funky Hand Facebook page, you'll have seen Anice's little "Coming Soon from Funky Hand" post on Friday and know that there's a new paper collection about to be launched.
It's called Memories in Sepia and is a lovely set of papers with a romantic, vintage feel - I think the designs are just beautiful and I hope you'll agree

For this first card I used the new papers for the background and to make the flowers and punched butterfly, then added in some extra flowers made from a soft pink card, and some pink ribbon for good measure
The flowers on Card 2 are actually part of an all-over flower design, but they are so pretty I thought they deserved being made the main focus - so I made them a bit bigger,  printed a couple of copies and cut them out so that they could be layered up for extra dimension

Project 3 is a cute little gift bag - the swirly design of this paper made me think of butterfly "trails" so provided a good excuse to use my favourite butterfly die to make the embellishment.

So, those are my first three ideas for using a beautiful set of papers - and here is a little glimpse of more of the collection
I hope that's whetted your appetite!
Keep an eye on the Funky Hand website for more info over the coming days ;)

Happy Crafting

Funky Love

Morning folks, Allison here to share with you today- a side stepper card made from the beautiful limited edition Mother of Mine Mother's Day collection
I covered my side stepper card with the spotty paper and then doodles round the edges.
Now in my rush to print off the papers I forgot to resize the image page and it printed off in A4 size and being miserable and not wanting to waste anything I thought how can I still use that? So I cut out the flowers and the words love you and made another flower using a circle punch and an oval punch and layered it all as above.

Coffee and Tea

For the times when you need to make a quick card, just because you need to and here is a perfect digi stamp - I'm A Mug For You - I Like Coffee and its only £1.29!

I've used Promarkers to colour the image and then the papers are all offcuts from making a wordbook with the Funky Daze cd - I hate to throw away the cutoffs so I keep them and they are perfect for filling in a background!

Wondedrful Wednesday

Morning all,

It's Debbie here with a card using a recent forgotten funky - Funkyhand Shabby Saturday. I needed to make a card for my daughter as she has just started a new job doing home care and I wanted to show her how proud we are of her. Would you believe the only item I printed out was the insert to the card, everything else was in my left over file.

On 1 of my recent posts on here I'd took a picture of how I store my left overs. As soon as I posted that picture I had to do something to make them more accessible:

Much tidier and easier to find the download left overs in my file now. So why not get your funkyhand bits and pieces out and craft with us. You can leave a link below in the comments so we can visit your blog or go to our Facebook page.

Hugs Debbie x
