... Funky Daze to brighten your day! I've made a cute basket with papers from the Funky Daze collection plus a little bunting. Perfect for a Mum to Be Gift!
Really easy to make and the papers were perfect! Not sure if the baby will be a girl but I liked it to be bright so it was a bit pink themed!

Take a closer look at the Funky Daze CD
Hi everyone, Anice here,
I hope you have been enjoying the wonderful creations that the Design Team have been sharing this month using the Funky Hand original CD Funky Daze. I know I have.
I was thinking about it and just seeing a few pictures on the website doesn't give you a really good idea of what you actually get to print off and use in your crafting. So, I've put together a video giving you a much clearer idea of what you will find on it.
Funky Daze is on sale for just £1.00. Hopefully this video will make you want to order it today. :)
Did you enjoy the video? Let me know what you think.
Until next time
Anice xx

Funky Daze - Fourth Day
There is some wonderful colour collections on the Funky Daze cd - this particular one is called Fourth Day and is just perfect for males!
All the papers, with exception to the blue one, I've printed as A6 so that I can fit 4 different papers on a sheet of A4 card. The patterns are also small enough so that they are not lost in the layering and overlapping. This was a really quick card to make - great when you're in a hurry!

Candles
I've made these cute candles by printing papers from Funky Daze - Son Day collection and then rolling them up. The papers were printed as A6 size (4 on a sheet of A4 thin card) and then I rolled them around a skewer. The 'flames' are jute string that I've glued just inside the top of the candle.
Sentiment is a stamp from the Our Betty collection. Don't forget that the cd is only £1 and the stamp set is also just £1!!

"ZOO" mini album by Kathy
Hi,
it's Kathy today, and this time it's a mini album I have to show you
All this month we're sharing projects made using papers from the Funky Daze CD and I hope you've taken advantage of the April special offer and grabbed your own copy for the amazing price of just £1
Anyway, It's been ages since a I dabbled in the wonderful world of mini books so I thought it was time - and what a great way to show off lots of the paper designs too ;)
Well, having made the Starburst card for my last post here, I'd sort of fallen in love with the colours in the "Half Way" section of the Funky Daze CD and I couldn't resist using them again!
This is a really neat little book design, where the pages have a simple zig-zag formation and are all folded up into a wrap around cover

Materials and Tools
Papers: "Half Way" from the Funky Hand Funky Daze CD
the designs were all printed on textured white Bazzill card
Letters cut with an X-cut alphabet die
EK Success border punch
Thin leather thong for fastening
Ink for edging
So here we go with a picture show - from the photos I think you'll be able to see how it works. I hope you like it
There's enough room in this one for 15 photos, but the clever way this book is made means you can have as many pages as you want, then just make the cover to fit around them. Mine is quite small, only about 8x10 cms, but again, its easy to adapt for the size of photos you want to put inside.
The last photo shows how it looks when the book is lying flat when it's all folded in and fastened up

Game On!
Morning all, Tams here back with another Funky Hand project of the month!! This month the DT are all using one of the fabulous CD's which has been reduced in the shop for the whole month to just £1!! This months CD is Funky Daze!
For my card this time I again kept it CAS because of the issues with my printer I printed out a few different sheets all in one go! This fab circle paper was one of them! I inked up a stamp (clearly besotted) and added a sentiment. I added 4 small gems to the buttons.
Thats all for today!

Feed the birds!!
Hi everyone!!
Its time for me to share another make for Funky Daze month using the Funky Daze original CD ROM. This CD is actually one of my first ever buys from Funky Hand all those years ago!
I used a Silhouette store box cutfile with the Monday's Child colourway. I am still in the super spring celebration mood and these colours were just perfect for the job!! I made a little birdy treats box. This is actually one of my dad's 60th birthday pressies, he LOVES feeding the birds so I thought it was the perfect way to present the seed.
So, whats on the CD you ask?? From the cool blues and greens of Monday Morning to the vibrant pink and black of Saturday shopping you are sure to find a collection of backing papers that will be perfect for your next craft project, papers and wordbooks all ready for you to print and go!!!

Starburst card by Kathy
Hi,
it's Kathy today, and I've a Funky Daze card to share with you
All this month we're sharing projects made using papers from the Funky Daze CD so hopefully by now you're getting a good idea of how much there is on it.
Normally selling at a measly £3.99, but if you buy it during April
you can have it for just £1....what a treat!
Anyway, this time I've made a card, and used a few of the designs from the "Half Way" section of the Funky Daze CD

Nested Star die set (MFT DieNamics)
hand-cut starburst panels
Ink for edging
I cut the largest star twice, once as a whole star for the base, then a second time taping the large one and the next size down die together so you get a "frame" shape. The other stars were cut in the same way, so that instead of being layers of paper one on top of another, they all "nest" inside the largest star frame making a less bulky card

Funky Daze- Just Thursday
This month we are all working with the wonderful Funky Daze cd - the papers I used are from the Just Thursday collection
I forgot I had this die, it was hidden away and neglected in the back of a cupboard and I think this spotty paper makes a lovely jacket, in fact I want one just like it !
Each month when we showcase a CD you can but for a £1, so go and grab your bargain

6-Teen
I do like making wordbooks and what better than to use the Funky Daze cd! If you've not made wordbooks before and just want to try to see if you like, then Funky Daze is the cd for you! There are two wordbook sections and this is the male one.
They are really easy to make - just print the letters you want (I've added the number by using one of my own templates) and then if you wish, print a contrasting paper on the reverse. Easy peasy! I've edged each letter with a Promarker and then gone over the top with glossy accents.
The stars are cut with an X Cut die and I've popped them up with tiny foam pads and then covered with glossy accents.

Baby feets....
It's Lou back with another make for Funky Daze month using the Funky Daze original CD ROM. This CD is actually one of my first ever buys from Funky Hand all those years ago! I am so proud to of been on the Funky Hand design team for a number of years now, Anice's papers just rock.
I used my trusty silhouette to cut out the teeny feet for the card in the scraps of paper from my make I shared on yesterday. I love that blue and brown colour combo (... and its always really handy that all the papers in each colourway match up for use as it stops my brain hurting!! lol!!) a few white gel pen dots on the Baby word and a bit of ink around the edges and it was done!!

Coffee and Tea
For the times when you need to make a quick card, just because you need to and here is a perfect digi stamp - I'm A Mug For You - I Like Coffee and its only £1.29!
I've used Promarkers to colour the image and then the papers are all offcuts from making a wordbook with the Funky Daze cd - I hate to throw away the cutoffs so I keep them and they are perfect for filling in a background!

Use Up Your Scraps!
It's my turn to provide some inspiration and to showcase a Funky Hand product (or two) and I thought that because its a New Year and we all set ourselves (unrealistic!) New Year Resolutions to use the stash that we have, I'd better do what I say, and I've made these cards:
I've actually made a few more than the photo shows, but you get the idea! I've cut a sheet of A4 card in half to make two cards and used an X Cut facy die for the scalloped bottom edge. Lightly inked in black around the edge and then added a faux stitched line with a fineliner black pen.
The bunting has been made with offcuts from wordbooks (Retro Fun) and bits left over from normal cards (Funky Daze) - I get a lot of requests to make the wordbooks and I hate to throw away the bits I cut off especially as at least one side has been printed on. I simply cut some strips and then measured 2cm for the top of the triangle and then cut! Layered onto a base colour, glued in place with silicone glue and then added the bows of embroidery thread afterwards.
I also dotted a black spot with a Sharpie marker and then dabbed glossy accents over the top. The sentiment stamp is a Studio G acrylic 99p set and as I sent very few Christmas cards, I decided that I'd be sending Spring cards instead. Mainly because I ran out of time (kids had something on nearly every night and each weekend from mid November onwards) and I thought that Spring cards would stay displayed longer!
Although we are no longer setting challenges, you can still link up and show us your creations with Funky Hand products! Just use the blue frog below!
