Hello, hello! Tabbatha here again and showing off a super easy and awesome card I made using the pretty Summer Wedding backing papers. That is one amazing thing about any of the Funky Hand papers - they are so versatile!
Today I created a vintage, soft, muted card using 3 of the Summer Wedding backing papers - taking care to pick the more soft pink tones in the paper. The card project was a Silhouette Cameo project, but that is why I love Funky Hand downloadables so much - they are super easy to use with my Silhouette!
To create this card I pulled in each Summer Wedding paper that I wanted to use into my Silhouette Studio Designer Edition. With that particular edition, all I needed to do was drag and drop the paper over the shape I was going to cut out! I used the gorgeous and classy Summer Wedding Paper #2 for my packing paper, which is adhered to a muted mauve cardstock. I then used Summer Wedding Paper #3 for the strip on the bottom, which I fancied up by attaching a white lace border strip. I made care to use the more muted pink tones in Paper #3, that way it matched up with the flower. The 3D flower was made using the awesome Summer Wedding Paper #9!
**I should note here that there is variability from printer to printer. While my printer, with next to full ink, printed the Funky Hand patterns in a more muted tone, the set is quite bright, which would also make this look fabulous!
I think my favorite things to do with the Funky Hand papers are to make 3D flowers. They seriously rock for it! That and my Silhouette...hehe. I don't know where I would be without that thing, it really lets me explore what I can do with the Funky Hand papers. :D
