Some Funky Circles

Hello hello! It is me, Tabbatha, again and I'm going to show you this fun little card that I made. Now, you might not know, but I really love mixed media and I play in my art journal a lot, so this style comes quite easy to me. It is messy, oh boy it is, but I still love it. The papers here at Funky Hand are so brilliant for this type art. Anice has created some very textural papers that have big bold and beautiful patterns.

To create my card today I used papers from three different paper sets: Rainbow Polkadots, Rainbow Stripey and one single pattern from the Trad Ole Christmas. Now, just because I used colorful papers from three sets, that does not mean you couldn't pull this off with just one set. :)

The flowers are just concentric circles of various sizes that I first spritzed with water, crushed up then let dry. Once the circles were dried I brushed on some watered down gesso and glued it all together. Of course, I finished it off with a brad.

So, there you have it. A fun and easy mixed media type of card that totally utilizes the gorgeous Funky Hand papers! I'll be back next week with another crazy and Funky and messy project.
