Gorgeous gift boxes!!

Pillowbox Template from Twelve Crafters Crafting.
Papers and digi's from Colour Me Happy.

Morning everyone! its Lou here this morning with a little post for you!!

Its getting that wedding season time of year again and I was twiddling my fingers with what to make for a friend who is getting married to pop their gift in ( pennies and choccies need something a bit exciting to sit in!!) so I decided on the pillowbox template from the tewlve Crafters Crafting cd rom.

Now I love the templates on this cd rom because if you have any of the older ones you can open the template up first and the change edition to go find the papers you want. I wanted something pretty so I went for the contented coffee collection on Colour me happy.

I printed out my pillowbox, scored it and then cut it out. Then I squished on some collal glue and clipped it together with a couple of bulldogs clips to hold it firmly until it dried whilst I got busy with the digi stamps.

First I chose the flowered frame and then I chose the 2 little birds and moved them over the frame until they were fitting where I wanted them. the great thing is you can resize the digi's easlily in the workspace to get them working together tickety boo!!

I coloured them up using my promarkers and added a little blossom to the tree branches too, so cute!! then I cut it all out, fiddly but oodles of fun.

I took my bulldog clips off the pillowbox and popped it out, folding in the ends, and then added some thick brown ribbon and tied it together with a little twine. Then I added a squidge of foam tape to the back of my little birds in a frame and adhered it to the top of the ribbon.

I adore these pillowboxes. If you have made one using the template from Twelve Crafters Crafting, please share it with us using the link below!!

huge hugs Lou xxx
