The new "Spring Wedding" collection will be available soon and is just the freshest, prettiest paper set! There are some wonderful "chipboard" style letters which match the papers perfectly coming too - so definitely something to watch out for.
I've made a couple of cards to give you a little taste of these gorgeous designs. Don't be misled by the "Spring Wedding" title as these papers will come in handy for all sorts of purposes. Yes, there are hearts and Yes, there are flowers but all in all this collection has a really wide appeal and will work well withall those ribbons, gems and other stash we all love to use.
Hearts and Flowers Bouquet
All papers from Funky Hand's "Spring Wedding" collection
Flowers are cut from one of the papers and the hearts punched from scraps.
The green paper is perfect for cutting stems and punching some leafy accents
From my stash I used ribbons, pearls and "diamond" gems - all suitably "wedding-y"!
Simply Said
All papers from Funky Hand's "Spring Wedding" collection
To make the flower, I cropped, resized and printed the paper in two sizes*, then cut out the shapes and inked the ends of the petals. I used a quilling ball tool to add shape to the flowers veofre glueing them together. The flower centre is cut from another of the printed flowers and topped with an inked-to-match card candy circle.
The tiny hearts are the "waste" from a MS border punch!
"Love" is cut from the words patterend paper.
The ribbons are from my stash, and there's a tiny touch of White Ice Stickles on the flower centre to give a bit of bling
.
*check my last post HERE for how I do this
