The team have really gone to town on their samples this month, first up is Allison, who used these really gorgeous papers from The Funky One to make this stunning box aperture card.

Next is Dolly, who grabs any chance to make one of her gorgeous handbags. The papers are from the     Retro Fun Word Book download, I just love those flowers - Lulu Guiness eat your heart out!
Jules used papers from The Funky One as well to make this funky new home card, look at the detail, don't you love the little flowers trailing up the house, and the acetate sentiment that looks just like puffs of smoke....

and Kath used Autumn Style and Juicy Lemons from the Dreams Come True CD to make this ultra bright and cheerful flowerpot card, I always love Kath's colour choices.....

Kathy used papers from the Shabby Saturday download, the watering can is one of the digi images on the  Dreams Come True CD. What a great idea to make that fringed grass.....

Ruth took shape quite literally, and made this cheeky bra and pants card, papers are from Retro Fun

She very cleverly used bits from a hair ornament for the bling...

Anice made a butterfly shaped card from the gorgeous new digi stamp download Flutterby Flowers - love that button and wire

Lythan made a little teapot based on the image from Dreams Come True and using Delightful Fun papers from the same CD.

I (Enfys) used Blue Magic papers from the Dreams Come True CD, a card cut on my cricut, and I couldn't resist a dragonfly cut in paper and acetate from the new download

Get Funky Challenge - April

A brand new month and a brand new challenge here on "Get Funky!" the challenge blog for all the fab Funky Hand goodies. First though, a great big THANK YOU to all who joined in with Dolly's "Girls, Girls. Girls" challenge last month - how much fun was that theme, then? What a great excuse to get good and girlie!

It's Kathy here this time and it's my very first time setting the challenge, so please be kind to me! Our theme is
April Showers
Any project you like - could be cards, books, Scrapbook pages.... whatever, it all counts as long as there's a rainy theme. The other thing to remember is that your project will only be eligible for the prize if you use at least one Funky Hand product - there are LOADS of papers and extras to choose from so that bit won't be difficult! Click HERE for a quick link to the Funky Hand website ;-).

Here's how to be in with a chance of winning this month's £20.00 voucher to spend at Funky Hand::
1. Add your April Showers project to your blog,
2. Don't forget to say which Funky Hand product(s) you've used,
3. Come back before midnight April 30th (UK time) and leave a message with a link so that we can see what you've made.

Our fabulous DT have made these Rainy Day cards to help get you thinking

First up here's Allison's card - look at all those fab flower digi images from the Dreams Come True CD all in a row. Aren't they gorgeous?  All the papers and lettering is from DCT too!
Jules has used images and papers from the V. Funky! (CD) I love the raindrops on this card, and the cluster of flowers is wonderful.
If only "real" clouds were as pretty as those on Lythan's card, eh? These papers are from Retro Fun which is the brand new download released just this week. We're all loving this set - the colours and designs are such fun to use
Kath has used some of the "Blue Magic" set of designs from Dreams Come True (CD) to make this card - see those flowers? They're cut out from one of the paper designs - aren't they cute?
I wish my "real" brolly was as cheerful as the umbrella on Dolly's card! What a lovely idea for a Get Well Soon card. These paper designs are from the Now that's Funky (CD)

Just look at these funky wellies Enfys has made with her Cricut and some more of the Dreams Come True papers - and don't you just love that sentiment?
Another pair of Wonderful Wellies, this time from Ruth, who's used papers printed from the Funky Daze CD to make this fab card, great for a gardener with all that rustic twine!
And that leaves me, Kathy, to bring up the rear (so to speak!) I've used paper designs from the Dreams Come True CD  - it's bright, busy and brash, but hey, you can't say it's not cheerful!

So there you go, I hope you've enjoyed seeing what we've made this month and that you're itching to get started on your own project - we can't wait to see what you Get Funky with this time - just remember the 1.2.3. rules above to be in with a chance of winning that £20 Funky Hand spending spree!

Good Luck and Happy Crafting
