A Useful Christmas Wordbook!

Hi, Kathy here this time with another wordbook idea for you;
Lou set this month's challenge and said:
This months Get Funky Challenge is.....
WORDBOOKS

So it can be any word, any theme as long as it is a wordbook!! and..
As always you must use at least one Funky Hand product on your wordbook..:)
(its an easy rule and not much of an ask.)
Well yes, I know it's a scary thought, but now that October already the Cword time of the year is starting to loom large on the horizon.  So I've used WB pages and papers from the
to make a little present-buying organizer.  Whether it'll actually help get me organized is another thing entirely!

Anyway, I've adapted the WB pages to make a different shaped wordbook which is about 12cm square - big enough to hold lots of info but small enough to carry around in my bag.
One of the wonderful thing about Funky Hand's downloads is that once they are on your computer you can easily resize the pages, or even crop them down and print just the bits you need.  This is how I made the tabs with 2012 on for the pages in this book.
I printed my choice of the papers on both sides of regular thin card, then glued a number tab to each, taking care to position them so that they would show properly once the book was assembled,
Next I cut off the surplus card from each page so that the tabs were sticking out, trimmed all the pages to the right size, punched holes for the ribbon ties and the book was ready to decorate.
On the cover I've used the  from the
the "gifts" border design is from the CD - to make it I simply popped 3 identical images close together onto the workspace, added the fab fat Father Christmas image to the workspace too and printed it all out.  I trimmed the border design to the size and shape I wanted and used a circle punch to cut out Father Chrismtas.
The book title is pc generated.
I used ribbon to tie the pages together so that I can add extra pages if I need to.
Finally I use Word to make the "Ideas" and "Gifts Bought" pages and glued them on to the Wordbook pages.

Anice's fab Funky Freebie download  can be found on the web site. and it will help you make your own wordbook - so that even if you don't already have any of the Funky Hand CDs or Wordbook downloads to use you'll still be able to have a go and share your creations with us.
Just remember that you absolutely MUST use a Funky Hand product on your wordbook.
If you don't have a blog then please don't worry, you can enter through our Facebook page.
You have till the 14th October to add your link - we're hoping that you're all busy making and putting the finishing touches to yours ready to post your link so we can see what you've made.
