Card and gift card all in one!

Back to share another project for Funky Hand! This month the DT are all using the Funky Daze CD which you can get here for a fabulous price of just £1! 

For my card today I used the linen collection. I wanted to make something a bit different to your bog standard card but my brain just couldn't think! I ended up with a card but added a gift card holder on the front. Obviously you could change the colour scheme to match your gift card and this CD certainly gives you hundreds of different colours!

Im a little late with my post today for Funky Hand but better late then never I guess..
My appologies, so let me get right too it..

Todays post is an A4 LO (LayOut) made using the V. Funky CD.

This LO is made using the Mexican Night papers from the V. Funky CD. I just love the colours and as many of you will know, Im always drawn to all things vintage. Now the designs themselfs are as it says on the tin, Funky, but the colours fittet me perfect and the added gems and the rustic stitching gave this LO the vintage feel I love.

All Occasions - Very Funky

Morning

Sammylou here with a quick make from the All Occasions folder which is included on the V. Funky cd-rom.

Using the Best Teacher topper and co-ordinating papers, I have created a quick thank you for a teacher. I printed off a matching red paper from one of the other collections on the disc and cut out an apple shape, then paper-pieced a leaf. Mat and layer the papers, then pop the home-made topper on and the card is done!

An incredibly quick card to make but still so lovely.

V Funky- Occasions

Allison here to share a  make using the V Funky CD ROM. This CD has 15 different colour ranges to choose from and extras included for each of the colour sections and again the CD is only £1 for the whole of this month

Blue For Boys - Mum

Another set of great papers from the V Funky cd!  I've used the Blue For Boys collection - and printed two sheets A5 size (the top and bottom bands are snipped in half) and then used two of the ATC sheets.

I originally printed the Mum tile direct from the cd and then printed it for a second time via the 'open' option on the cd rather than the 'run' option.  I didn't realise until I was about to layer then up that the second print was slightly smaller than the first.  However, it looks fine!  Everything else is from my stash.

Watch out for more goodness from V Funky this month!

Altered Tin, by Kathy

Hi, it's Kathy today, and I've an "altered" tin to show you this time.  I've used papers from this month's showcase CD "V. Funky" to make a boring, empty mints tin into something a bit prettier.

You'll find masses of papers on this CD in a wide variety of colourways, and I've used some from the "Cottage Linens" section for this project - these papers are beautiful with soft, delicate colours and a little "Shabby Chic" in their feel

Materials and Tools

Papers: "Cottage Linens" from the Funky Hand  V.Funky  CD
the designs were all printed on textured white Bazzill card 
Blossom Flower Punch (SU)

Leaf Swirl die (Spellbinders) 

Corner Rounder punch

Ribbon, Cream Cotton Lace. 

pearls (tinted blue with Promarker pen) Ink for edging
Alcohol Inks to colour the tin

Here's how the tin looked before I attacked it:

 I used some dark coloured Alcohol Inks around the sides and any other bits I thought might show once the tin was finished.  I also added some ink to the inside of the tin as it seemed a bit too shiny!

Mom......

Its Lou in today to share another make for V Funky month using the V Funky original CD ROM. This CD is an absolute delight...I have told Da Boss £1 is crazy for it but she's not listening!!!

Todays card just had to be a mom make with the 'Cottage Linens' colourway, I love that lady cards and men's cards can both rock this colourway!

There are 15 stunning colourways to choose from on this CD, fabulous for all occasions and extras such a toppers,I used the 'Mom' topper and one of the ATC cards I had left over from yesterday, which I popped out on some foam for some depth in my card.I also used some of the gorgeous bakers twine Anice had in the shop for a while, its all out of stock now but it matched this card so perfectly so I just had to use some of mine!
