Wake Up Year - Funky Seasons

Hello :)

It's the last share from me this month and I have two cards to share with you today. I have used the Wake Up Year collection from the Spring section of Funky Seasons

I used some die cut flowers, dragonfly and butterfly to create a negative, backed it with the papers, matted it onto purple card and added card candi on one and liquid pearls on another.

Monster!

I hope you can see just how much fun I had making this! I used just one paper from the Wake Up Year section on Funky Seasons - its not quite a full sheet of A4 and I printed directly onto some linen effect cardstock so the linen effect of the papers works really well with the cardstock (hope you followed that!)

Eyes are made from large wobbly eyes and two different inked circles - teeth are punch hearts and I've just made the dip in the centre longer.  The mouth flaps open to give the card a bit more character.

Letters are Sizzix die cuts and I've glittered them.  Cute eh?!

Morning everyone!

I have a little baby card make to share with you all today. I have had a 'arghhh I've run out of printer ink' issue for the last couple of weeks and had to wait until payday to order some more so I had to think of some way to use the scraps of paper I had left in my funky seasons stash!! ...and of course, the best papers for the job came from I've been playing with that Spring colourways  from the Funky Seasons CD .

                                         

Luckily, a Lori Whitlock cutfile in the SIL Store was my absolute saviour! I love this bright springy little onesie! its just too adorable!

Hi, it's Kathy here with a card to share today.  

These papers from the Funky Seasons CD - they are from the section called "Wake Up Year" and definitely  reflect the colours in my garden right now with the bright Spring greens, daffodil yellows and the purple irises

Its once again my turn to share a spot of inspiration

Funky Hand design.

This month we are having a play with the

This time I used the "Spring Walk"  papers of the CD.

Here is what I've made:

 You might have seen my sneaky preview of my flower cutting in our FACEBOOK group but here is finally the finished result.

I used only 2 sheets from the CD for this card (as well as my backing card stock)
I simply printed the flower sheet and die cut my circle. From the rest of the sheet, I cut all my flowers. Yes it DID take quite some time, but I honestly think it was worth it.

My second sheet was my letter tiles. In order to get my letter in the right size, I transfeered the sheet into a word doc and resized it.

Once all letters and flower was cut, it was a simple matter of adding them all to my card.
I finished off with a bit of glitter glue in the center of my flowers.

Funky Seasons - Mum

Hello, Sammylou here and today I am sharing a Mother's Day card I made using the Spring Whispers collection from the Funky Seasons cd.

I love gatefold cards, they are so easy to make but look amazing. I used dies to cut out the flowers, butterfliy, alphas and labels; layered them up and finished with some card candi.

A really simple card to construct but I hope you agree how effective the final result is.

Spring Flowers

This month as you know it's all about the lovely Funky Seasons CD and in particular the Spring Collection of papers within this CD.  As it was Mother's Day on Sunday I decided to use the papers and make a Mother's Day card.  Made the flowers using  circle punches  and a love heart  punch and typed the sentiment.

 The Funky Seasons CD is only £1 for the whole of this month so go grab a bargain

Spring Whispers

This is a really quick and easy card to make - I've used the 'extra's' tab on the Funky Seasons cd - these are the ATC's and you get a sheet of different patters which are perfect to use as scraps.

This one uses the Spring Whispers section and I've simply used a few different dies plus covered chipboard butterflies with scraps of papers plus half pearls.

Add some ink and a gel pen to dot around the edges and card is complete!

Funky Seasons with Balloons!!

Morning, Tammy here and I am back with another DT project for Funky Hand!! As you will know if you ready my blog for the month of May the DT are all using the same collection of papers. This month we are all using the CD Funky Seasons which is available here for the fabulous price of just £1!! 

Here is my project for today! 

I used my MFT balloon die to create the above, teamed with a scallop border and the sentiment is from one of the Betty stamp sets which is also £1 available here.

For my first projects this month Ive used the "Spring Whispers" papers of the CD.

 The little gift box is a template that comes on the CD. There is a printable template as well as some with design, like this one, on them. Such a quick little gift bag.

I just love these zingy papers. The colours are so vibrant and sets of a CAS (clean & simple) card perfect. The little flowers and the leaves are made from the papers as well and the letters on the card also come on the CD.

Morning all! 

DT Lou in with a share for you again today!  I found the most gorgeous little bird house favour box in the silhouette store and just knew it would be perfect full of teeny little choccy egss for Mo on easter sunday.

...and of course, the best papers for the job came from I've been playing with that Spring colourways  from the Funky Seasons CD .

                                         

I punched lots of little flowers to add to the front too and used some fabulous raffia ribbon from ikea for the little tie and bow. I love this little house!!

Spring Whispers Thank You

Hello all and I am so glad to be back for this month's shares showcasing the sublime spring collection on the Funky Seasons cd-rom. What's even better is that it's currently in the Funky Hand store for just £1.00 (I think the price is March madness!)

My first make is a simple thank you card using the Spring Whispers colourway.

I've simply cut strips and made them into banners, stuck them on, then cut out the alphas and layered them over the papers. A bit of tiny pink bling and the card's complete.

A simple yet effective card...

Spring Butterfly

This month at Get Funky it's all about the Funky Seasons  CD

The CD  features collections of lovely papers for each season of the year and this month is all about the SPRING selection of papers and is only £1 to buy for the whole of this month
I layered up some of these lovely pink papers from the collection and added a butterfly and some pearls for my card- remember to pop back every couple of days this month for lots more inspiration from the rest of the DT

Cute and Perfect For....

... A few carefully chosen chocolates!  This little cutie is really easy and quick to make - its from the Funky Seasons cd - Spring Collection - Wake Up Year; click on the 'Extras' section and a, well, section of extra's appears!  And you can print off this little bag - all you need to do is cut, score and glue.

I've added a few extras - the little flowers plus ribbon and I printed on the reverse of the bag with a contrasting paper. For reinforcement, I added contrasting handles.  Just perfect for Mother's Day!

Shake into spring!!

Morning all! DT Lou in with a share for you again today! I've been playing with that Spring Whispers colourway again from the Funky Seasons CD . I went for a super fun shaker birthday card adding some sequins and buttons into the little shaker piece.

Funky Seasons - Dig out your Hi Tops!

Morning all. Tammy here and as its another month it can only mean another new special offer from Funky Hand!! This month the Funky Seasons CD is just £1 for the whole month of March!! Just like last month the DT have been making creations using this CD to inspire you and there is a new post on the blog every single day!  

My card for today used a Hi Top die, teamed with papers from the spring colour way on the disc. I printed them out, layered them up and voila! I added a small Happy birthday sentiment.

Springy Album!!

 Morning everyone!!

It's Lou in for you this morning sharing my creation using the Funky Seasons original CD ROM. There are thirteen different backing paper collections. Three in Spring like colours, three for Summer style crafting, three in lovely Autumn hues and finally three for more cool Winter creations. There is also an extra Black and White collection. As well as backing papers there are also co- ordinating Alphabets, tags and other extras so there is plenty to play with! 

I used Spring Whispers colourway to make my zingy springy little album!!  

 I used Lori Whitlocks 3x4 gusseted mini album file from the Silhouette store.

This month we are celebrating Spring..

Hi all,

We are planning on celebrating Spring this all month.  Hopefully by the end of March it will have arrived..here in the UK anyway.  To do this we are travelling back a little way in the Funky Hand timeline and the Design Team are going to be sharing creations using the Funky Seasons original CD ROM.

Original CDs? Why are they called that? I hear you ask.  Well, they are the CDs that we released before Papercraft Factory was designed.  The original CDs are made to just pop into your disc drive, run, get your choice of backing papers or extras and then put them safely away again until next time.  No loading of software.  If this is how you like your digital crafting then these range of CDs could be just what you need.

Also, they are available on the Funky Hand website for just £1.00 each.  You can't go wrong with them really!

OK, on the Funky Seasons CD there are thirteen different backing paper collections. Funky Seasons

Good Morning- hope you have all recovered from Christmas and are now ready for New Year
It's an ideal time of the year for sending some thank you cards and this one was made from the fabby Funky Seasons CD as was the gift bag- simply print and cut out and add a  couple of bits of tape and the bag is ready- how easy is that, the alpha letter are from the CD too- why not go and grab a bargain at only £1, yes I said £1 for the Cd while stocks last
